| Overlooking the Chickahominy River in Lanexa, Virginia, Riverside Camp II Campground is a small fishing campground offering a quiet, friendly camping facility catering to the most avid fishermen. Guest will find overnite riverview sites with water and 30 amp electric to accomodate up to 38 ft RVs or tents,and basic cabins.Cabins come with no bath or kitchen facilities.Bathhouse is approximately 200 ft away.No pets allowed at or in Cabin Rentals and no smoking allowed in Cabins.Pets are welcome on RV sites.Our overnite section is small and spaces go fast,so reserve early! "Please notice that our overnight area is 4 sites for tent or RV together with the cabins".The sites are only secluded from the seasonal sites. Come and stay for a weekend,week or longer and enjoy the river! Watch the eagles soar and stunning sunsets from the comfort of your campsite! |

| The Chickahominy River is named after the Native American people who still inhabit the region. The river is one of the longest rivers in Virginia and is teeming with fish, birds, and other wildlife. Fishing is excellent with an abundance of bass, striper, and catfish. Riverside Camp II Campground carries all of the bait, tackle, and fishing accessories you'll need to enjoy a day on the water,whether tournament fishing or on your own.The Chickahominy River is also a great river for boating, canoeing, and rafting; there are several outfitters and fishing guides available in the area. Other river activities include a designated swim area, picnicking, wildlife viewing, birding, and sightseeing.We also offer launching your boat on our 100 ft long piers with a fee of $7.00, to be paid at check in. |

Enjoy nearby shopping and dining, local golf courses, and the Chickahominy River Recreation Park. Lanexa is just 30 minutes from some of Virginia's premier attractions including Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown, and Yorktown, as well as outlet malls, museums, and the Jamestown Discovery Trail. There are also historic plantations to tour, wineries to visit, and all kinds of entertainment to enjoy. Busch Gardens Amusement Park, historic Yorktown, and cruises on the York River are all within easy driving distance. |
